Need some jobs finished this fall around your house and you just can’t find the time? The senior high youth group can help you out! The youth will be renting themselves out to help do some of those jobs. This will be a service project as well as a fundraiser. Money raised will go toward workcamps and to National Youth Conference!
Beginning Sunday morning, September 30, each youth participating will have a card in the narthex with the kind of jobs they are willing to do along with the number of hours they are willing to serve. For this silent auction, you will need to bid on the youth you wish to rent according to the dollar amount per hour. Write your name and your bid on the card; and then if someone wants to bid higher, they will cross out the bid and write their bid below. You can stop by the church and watch your bids; the bidding will close on October 14 at 3:00 after our congregational business meeting. The highest bidder will then pay for the youth, checks due to Steve Spire by October 21st. The buyer will then contact their youth to set up time to do the work. Jobs need to be completed by the end of 2012. This is a great project for our youth and for you to get some jobs done, so…….
On SEPTEMBER 30th let the bidding begin!!! Any questions?
Ask Donna Tutwiler, Steve Spire or Beth Gimbert.
