The fall season for our English Language Learners will be
held again at Karis on Monday and Thursday evenings from
6:30-8:30 beginning Thursday, September 20, and concluding
Monday, December 10. Tutors are needed as teachers and as
teaching assistants. If you are willing to be a part of the literacy
ministry at Karis, please sign up on the sheets provided in the
narthex during the month of August.
There will be a refresher course for previously trained
tutors on Sunday, September 9, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the church.
New tutor training is being offered at the Skyline Literacy
building on Saturday, August 18, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Check
